I really hope it's not a busted ethernet port. My console is out of warranty and Sony has a pretty shitty and high fixed cost for all repairs over here so for me that's not an option I would only suggest taking it apart if your warranty has run out as this voids the warrenty. The only way you can replace the Ethernet port yourself would require soldering so if you have no experience in this you could take it to a repair shop to get this done.
